I spent most of my Canada Day weekend dreaming up Canada Day cupcakes!
I wanted to experiment with flavours so on a trip to the grocery store I found this stuff:
Maple syrup in spreadable form! How Canadian is that (it's even got a beaver on the front)!! So my final recipe was a Maple syrup cupcake (Map-O-Spread and maple syrup infused), with an apple butter icing.
Don't worry, I got to enjoy some sunshine too!
