Halloweeny!

So I got like 4 different cake orders this weekend, making it my busiest weekend so far! Yay!
Here's a sample of a cupcake order for Dance With Alana studios! Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and Oreo "dirt" crumbs, topped with a gummy worm!

The animator in me loved making this Nightmare Before Christmas cake!

The Cupcake Lounge, Ottawa

This weekend I enjoyed a red velvet cake from The Cupcake Lounge in Ottawa. Such a cute little cake bar!  I was able to take my cupcake home on the bus and it survived the trip!  My cupcake was sooooo good and went perfect with my coffee crisp hot chocolate :D  Recommended to anyone wandering in the Byward Market!

Unite For The Fight 2011!

This cake was for this year's Unite For The Fight fundraiser in Pembroke Ontario. UFTF raises money every year for children's cancer.
This cake was layers of Victoria Sponge, and red velvet, with almond icing, covered in chocolate and white fondant.

Cupcake Valentines

A friend of mine visited this weekend, so as a gift I made her some red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
I still haven't found the perfect cream cheese icing yet. But I'll keep trying!
